Thanks for sharing! OMG, this is HI-larious! Thanks so much for letting the rest of us join you in your adventures. Can't wait for the next, uh, installment.
Things in OK are GREAT! Still can't even hardly believe it. All I have to do now is find a decent place to live that will allow cats (oh, and then haul all my furniture and boxes of books down from IN).
Santa Fe was good, altho' the market got rained out (and not many sales were made). Still, I managed to do more than my fair share of schmoozing, and caught up with my dad on Saturday night. So, it's all good.
Safe travels, you two! And keep me in the loop!
Yours in missing The Kids,
Affecting my dreams Last night, before I read this, I had a dream of Laura and I staying at a house, while on vacation, that had no working toilet, so one had to dump in the shower. That scene must have come from the visit to the RV where we got the Pooh demo. You come in the dream as follows. I'm standing on a wharf with a wooden house in the middle of it, of course surrounded by water. I'm talking to you, but every minute you have to help lead waterskiers safely on to shore by taking a rope thrown to you as they whizz by, and directing their landing. Kind of sounds like you driving the trailer.
I hope you have seen the movie The Long Long Trailer, a full length movie that Desi and Lucy made about going on their honeymoon pulling the longest trailer I've ever seen. Desi backing into a driveway and tearing the side porch off a grand Victorian house owned by her relatives (with the 100 year old climbing rose on a trellis gone too) is one of my favorite comedy scenes.
You need to write a book! Adrienne, after your trip you should publish the memoires as a book. People will fall off their chairs..... Have you considered stand up comic???? God you will floor people. This is more than hilarious, its serious stuff. (You can make these people at West End Housing famous celebrities.) Can't wait for the next page, please write fast. This is quick addiction.
