Well, after all the planning and fretting the day has finally arrived when we start our journey of a lifetime. We have always dreamed of having a trip round the world and have been talking about it for the last 9 years. I am up early this morning, nervous and excited about things, those of you who know us will be surprised at the time of this entry since we are usually the king and queen of lie-ins. However, couldn't sleep this morning and there will be plenty of time for that when we get to a paradise island in Thailand.
We are as ready as anyone can be, rucksacks are packed and ready. Mine is so heavy I'm not sure I'll be able to carry it to the train station! I'll just be like an upside down turtle lying on the platform. No, I'm joking really. I'm sure it will be fine, I'll just have to get used to it. At least we won't be carrying them in the cold and pouring down rain of the UK, I can tell you we are so looking forward to missing the winter.
Anyway, just a short entry to see how this travelpod thing works. I am a bit too nervous and panicky to think of anything witty and interesting to say. Will update when I have something of interest to report. Love to all those that will miss us xx
