Omoa is a beach community along the coast a bit from Puerto Cortes. We stayed in the port just long enough to get our business done then headed to quieter place to camp for the night. This particular camp is popular with backpackers and at some time there have been problems with parties because now the place is over run with rules. We never did meet the Swiss owner but our only night there was spent secretly sipping wine from our coffee mugs with our evening meal, "bad kids" but we go to bed early to make up for it. The heat and humidity are incredible; dewy skin has turned into trickling.
