We scooted down to La Paz as quickly as possible so that Rogelio at GeraldoVW could order parts for ailing Eve if necessary. On arriving Friday, we found that his shop was closed for Christmas (!) until Monday 08 January. Oh well, it was time for a break, so we stayed at Casa Blanca RV Park for 3 nights waiting. On Monday, Rogelio took Eve in right away, and instantly the engine was out and surgery commenced. The repair has taken some time and we are staying in the lovely Pension across the road from the shop. Very convenient and sparkling clean. Today we hope to get Eve back and continue across to Todos Santos after properly provisioning the bar.

we have been enjoying your travelpod since we returned to winnipeg. Sorry to here you have come down with the dreaded 'head problem' and hope it can be fixed relatively cheaply. We envy your sun and heat! It was -35 hear this morning with wind chill into the -40's
