We left Winnipeg on a warmer day, 7C, and headed south through North Dakota in similar weather. Long straight flat highway for many miles gave way to more long flat straight highway. Then it rained, softly at first, but belting down by the time we got to Sioux Falls, SD. I was too tired to go further so we booked into a convenient motel for the night. Cheap for us, $20USD for Gillie!!!! I don't think she got her money's worth. Rain had turned to light snow by morning.
