Our furthest trip down the Maya Riviera brought us to Tulum, a beautiful ocean-side ruin. Getting to Tulum (and all over Mexico) was yet another example of
horrible signage. There are signs 200 kilometers away pointing you
to Tulum, but when you actually get into the town, there isn't a single
sign for the turnoff to the ruins! Unfortunately, the archaeological site isn't as well maintained as Chichen Itza, but the location on the side of a cliff is incomparable. After yet another hot walk in the scorching sun, jumping into the water next to the ruins felt delightful!
