This town was a little less lovely than the last village but still very cute, and with the added advantage of being within cycling distance of Purmamarca, a mere 25km down the road, which is another gem in this region.
After a short trek into hills to see a canyon and waterfall (which if Iīm honest was distinctly average and not even worth a photo) on the first day we felt sufficiently warmed up for a 50km round trip the next day by bike.
Getting there was pretty quick which made me think there was a lot of downhill involved and therefore pain to look forward to on the way back. Thankfully a strong tail wind going home meant the whole day was completely with relative ease and maximum reward.
It was cool to get back on a bike (and one of a decent quality where everything actually works!), do some exercise after our last jeep based excursion and have the wind in our hair. Nice days are pretty much guaranteed this time of year. Only factor is the wind which is at least predictable and solely dictates an early-ish start.
So, what was the prize? One valley with seven different colours of hills all stacked up on top of each other. See the pics, words just donīt do it justice! Bless the rocky sock Mother nature.
