It started with the elephant riding, we were driven to the jungle and saw the elephants all walking around, they were all quite big apart from one tiny one who was jokes. As much as i was looking forward to the elephant riding getting on to the seat on their backs was actually quite difficult, well not really but it felt a bit unsteady, anyway once we were both on we set off, the elephants also have a worker riding along on the elephants head, we were on the biggest elephant and the only one with tusks. Trekking through the jungle was fun but there were points where we had to hold on to the seat bars to prevent falling off! This was mainly on the steep slopes. Once we were done we got to take photos of the elephants and that was that elephant experience over, despite clinging on at times it was in my opinion great!
Next on the agenda we visited a hill tribe village as well as a rice field, which i dont really have much to say about as it was rather brief. The waterfall came up next after a half hour walk through the jungle (although to me it seemed just like a usual woodlands) anyway it was a nice waterfall to see but i didnt take up the option to get in as i just wasn't feeling it really, the thought of walking half hour back all wet wasn't appealing and as it seemed it also wasn't for most of the group. Danielle on the other hand was not having that and decided to get in regardless of anyone else (well in chim!)
Final part of the day was bamboo rafting in which four of you get taken around a circuit on a bamboo raft, found it quite funny actually just sitting down on a raft floating down the river, i just basically sat and chilled on my raft as you do, whenever we came close to the edges i must admit i was on the lookout for any snakes that may have been lurking but thankfully didnt see any although this other girl said her raft steerer ( i realise that sounds ridiculous but it's late and im not actually sure what to call them..) pointed out 5, so glad Danielle never saw any. I did find out after that she spent the whole thing staring straight at the girl in fronts back to make sure she didnt see anything, but just before the end we got a photo taken and she at least looks happy and relaxed in that, it was probably the only 2 seconds she did! But as said nothing seen so all good.
All in all i thought it was a good day, not gonna lie it was really all about the elephants the rest was just a bonus
