Out of Croatia, into another country with a big 'WAR' tag around its neck - Serbia and Montenegro. The country is actually three provinces, 2 of which seem happy together and the third, Kosovo, which obviously isn't.
We got fed up of Croatia and it was chucking it down, so we got on a bus, headed south and crossed another border. Kotor has almost everything Dubrovnik has, apart from the large volumes of tourists and pretentiousness. Therefore, we like it much more. Earlier today we climbed the hill at the back of the town for marvellous views over the Kotor Fjord, the largest in Southern Europe allegedly, although my Fjord knowledge is limited.
Tomorrow we should be going to visit a monastery that contains pasrt of the mummified hand of John the Baptist. More religious mumbo-jumbo then!!
