George Bernard Shaw called it "Paradise on Earth". Lord Byron called it "The Pearl of the Adriatic". Sarah Ann Lines called it "OK.
The weather didn't help - we had about an hour of sunshine before the sun went away and then a few raindrops turned into a downpour, just as we'd done a load of washing. So, we spent most of our time in Dubrovnik indoors at Sylvana Busic's place, listening to her manly voice (probably due to chain-smoking for the 40-odd years of her life!) and trying to stop two 60+ Kiwi's from talking at us incessantly about every bloody thing they've ever done......
Suffice to say, one night was enough. We're leaving Croatia, which is staring to annoy us...... taking little bits of money from tourists here and there, ripping us off..... leave before we get too irritated.
