Slovakia´s second city, and one that from the outside looks typically communist. Despite the blazing sun and bright blue skies it still looked grey and dull. Nothing had changed by the time we got to the bus station, right near the centre of the city, but all that was soon to change as the city had a heart of gold. Tall spires slistened in the sun and all our fears were quickly allayed as we were met by a stream of beautiful buildings. We also ate at "Slovakia´s most famous restaurant", the 12 Apostles. It was nice, but as we could only afford to eat from the lunchtime specials menu we were ushered from our pew seats inside a gorgeous building and into the patio outside..... still, the scran was decent!
