We headed off this morning to Stone Henge. We travelled via Salisbury and at one point hit about 7 roundabouts in a row. Got way confusing and ended up taking a couple of wrong turns and having a few words to each other. We eventually got back on the right road and ended up at Stone Henge. OMG, the amount of people there was amazing. We were ushered with the crowd to a line which turned out to be the groups line, so we had to move.

We eventually got in, received our audio tour guide and walked around the circle in about an hour. When we left Bournemouth this morning, the lady at reception told us of a good old country pub at Fortham, so we decided to go there on our way to Southhampton.

It was really nice and I had a homemade sausage roll with coleslaw and pickled onions and Darryl had a ploughmans lunch of ham, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and some thick bread. Was a different lunch, but was really nice, as all the food was made from local ingredients.

We left there and headed for Southhampton which was only about an hour drive away. We found our way to our hotel and then found out where the laundrette was and did some washing.

After doing the washing, we found a friendly pub and had a couple of drinks and threw some darts. Got talking to some of the locals and had a great time. We took the washing back to the unit and then went for a walk around town. We found parts of castle walls in amongst the city buildings and then found a massive shopping centre right next to the castle wall. We had dinner here and then went for a bit more of a walk, as it was still daylight. Back at the unit now, to watch the 9pm movie.

Tomorrow we head to Brighton.
