Our first stop in Peru!

We´d been warned about several of the border crossings between Peru & Ecuador so decided to take the easy option and caught one bus which took us all the way from Loja in Ecuador to Piura in Peru! No exciting stories I´m afraid (although the mosquitos who ravaged me might disagree!), great scenery again but altogether easy peasy and if you want a non-hassle way of entering Peru this is it! No worries about a bus being there to greet you at the other side! You stay with the same bus! Job done! The highlight was the street side kebabs we had just before leaving Ecuador! We arrived in Piura in the evening, found a hotel close to the bus station as we were moving straight on to Trujillo the next morning and had our first night´s sleep in Peru!
