Rain, Rain, Rain!

Once our feet were on dry land again, we jumped on a couple of buses in the direction of Kuantan basically following the East coast! We managed to get on our most executive form of transport yet...a bus with only 3 seats across (2+1) - talk about leg room! The rain seemed to be following us unfortunately so we ended up only staying for one night in Kuantan (it has a great mosque)and enjoyed a great murtabak (like a spicy omelette) which Paul had to point at using a mop from the menu on the wall as they were struggling to understand us!! Very amusing!
We'd read great things about a place called Pekan not far from Kuantan so jumped on a bus the next morning but once again the rain was seriously beating down so we had a picnic on a bench, bought an umbrella and gave up, headed back and caught the bus onto KL! Come on sun, where have you gone!!!!
