To get back to the mainland and back on track for Malaysia, we decided to take the ferry to Ko Lanta after meeting a guy on Phi Phi who told us that his family would be re-opening their guesthouse for the first time since the Tsunami that day. Again we could only afford to stay one night but they were a great family, really friendly and we spent a really nice afternoon and evening there before getting up v early the next morning with the intention of getting to Penang by the evening!!!! Ambitious as ever!
