Hue is a beautiful city with some stunning architecture including a huge Citadel with walls and a moat surrounding the main buildings! We had a great time exploring the sites and got a bit tipsy after a couple of lunchtime beers (we sound as if we're drinking all the time but we're not...honest!) which made some very interesting photos! One of the highlights at the Citadel were the fish - HUGE goldfish...the fish literally climbed all over each other nearly drowning themselves to get the food! You see we cross the world to see beautiful places and get mesmerized by FISH!!!! Paul attempted to give me a 'backy' on his bike back to the hotel which resulted in me flying off and lots of old women laughing at me! Teach us not to drink and drive! Hee Hee! We spent a great evening with our Canadian friends at a deaf, mute cafe! Don't ask!

On our second day we had great time in Thu's cafe - this woman's English was amazing - I literally popped in there to swap a book and a coffee and a banana shake later we'd booked on a motorbike tour to head out and see the Emperors tombs which are a major attraction just outside Hue. Talking to her was great fun, she asked if we were married and on saying yes she asked if we had any children. I obviously said no and she asked if Paul was shooting blanks!!!!! God knows how she picked that one up but highly amusing and not expected at all!

The motorbike tour was great (not as good as Mr Binh!) but we definitely needed windscreen wipers on the crash helmets and towels as we were drenched by the end of it - heading into pouring rain! Really great afternoon though - highly recommended if you go to Hue!
