Monday - another beautiful, bright day, though the wind is chilly when we leave our deck! We visited the Mendocino headlands, and drove on to Fort Bragg , the biggest town around here, 10 miles N of Mendo, but it was so dull we didn't even stop, just drove straight back, and spent the afternoon reading on the deck. Andy has now finished the latest Lee Child which he bought in the airport, and has another 2 years to wait for the next one.
 
Tomorrow will be a lo-ong drive down the coast to Carmel . Some other guests were telling us over breakfast that it took them more than 6 hours to drive from San Francisco to Mendocino up Highway 1 on Sunday, and we have to drive several hours further than that.
 
Breakfast doesn't start til 9am, so we can't get an early start: we will be very late into Carmel - so it's likely that we won't be able to update the blog for a couple of days!
