Check-in at Terminal 3 was a breeze! There was no queue at all, then we went up in the lift to Virgin's private security lane, and were through within 10 minutes (though Andy did have to take his shoes off twice, inexplicably).

We did a little Duty Free shopping, then went to the Clubhouse where we had a full English breakfast (both), shampoo and blow-dry (S), wet-shave (A) and several glasses of champagne, all complimentary. This is the life!! [ The flight was long, uneventful - thankfully - and comfortable. I watched 'Atonement' - very sad - and Andy watched 'Ratatouille'.

The only downer was that  I discovered mid way across the Atlantic that I have lost the huge silver cuff I was wearing, somewhere between the Clubhouse and the plane. Hopefully Jonathan will be able to contact the Clubhouse lost property and track it down, but I'm not holding my breath :-(
