Where I stayed

We have made it to Sudbury, approximately one 40th of the way to Australia. Which is fitting considering it'll probably take another 40 days to get there (at least). We got lost coming into town, which is so unlike me, but we found our hotel and checked in eventually. Kara sold her car in the parking lot (it was prearranged, but it was still funny). We can see the top portion of the Big Nickel from our window which is quite exciting (we can see about 25% of it, so it's really only about 25% exciting but whatever). We were going to go out for dinner but we've got a flat screen tv with cable, 2 hard boiled eggs, about 10 cinnamon buns and a bottle of champagne so I think we've made up our minds to stay in. You'd have done the same. So far we have watched E! (not very exciting, the exclamation point is very misleading), the last bit of Family Feud (the Feud!) and now we're onto a documentary narrated by Brad Pitt.

Our train leaves at 5:13 tomorrow morning so it'll be an early night tonight. It's been a hard week of goodbyes and packing/cleaning but we're finally on the road and it feels good. This has been a long time in the pipeline and it's really cool to be out and finally doing it. Now, more champagne.
