This place is fantastic! After a slight hick up with accomodation ( a story for retelling when it's far away enough to be funny!), we landed oursleves the most amazing HUGE apartment with a blacony overlooking the see and the town centre in a place called Noosa Hill. Our own BBQ and pool, two bathrooms and flashy everything - we felt like Kings! We made the very most of our lodgings and just enjoyed the town. Set on the seafront with beautiful beaches and a fabulous turquoise sea which we have managed to swim in almost everyday! There are soooo many ice cream shops here and we have definately found two of the best - a gelati shop specialising in white chocolate gelati and another one selling Ferrero rocher ice cream with chunks of the ambassadors delightful chocolates in it!
Noosa has a lovely national park with rainforest walks and coastal walks taking in fabulous sea views and lots of nudies beaches (we looked but didn't participate! Sunset at the boat club
Sunset at the boat club
! - too many ice creams).
We went on a trip from here to Australia Zoo - home of Steve Irwin Crocodile Hunter who we thought was bit mad really but actually his work is fenominal - the zoo is more like a wildlife park and the conditions for the animals are fabulous, you can get up very close and personal with most of them and Steve's love for the crocs is very evident. They put on a fabulous show with the crocs and the power in their jaws is breathtaking (will be keeping out of their way from now on!).

Our last night in Noosa this time round was spent eating fabulous food from our lovely Kitchen whilst watching the Euorvision Song Conest (complete with Terry Wogan comentary) and Greece won which made Cypriat Natalie very excited!!!!

Noosa - we will be back!
