Hey there,
Hope you are all well. After sunning ourselves in Goa we then moved south to Kerala to the old city of Fort Cochin. Quick spot of sightseeing and then down to the beautiful backwaters of Kerala to stay on a houseboat for a night. Had our own captain, cook and two assistants to look after our every whim! After our stay on the boat (and several mosquito bites later), we headed further south to Varkala (beautiful beach resort set on a cliff top) for a week's relaxation at a luxurious hotel (with pool!). Had loads of fun here, great food, lovely weather, and we also hired a moped for a day and headed to a small village about an hour away for an elephant ride in the countryside - riding an elephant bareback was incredible but not the most comfortable experience!!
Next stop is to head north and travel around Rajasthan via the dreaded Indian train system...
Hope you enjoy the photos :0)
