Three hour flights are oh so manageable! They beat the 17 hours from Dubai to Houston any day. We arrived in Dubrovnik a little late, cleaned up and met up with Sharouz, a friend from Dubai, at the entrance to the old town. We all had grumbly stomachs so we went to pizzeria Mea Culpa at Marko's recommendation (he was in Dubrovnik a few nights earlier). Everywhere was nicely busy, it being high season, but we were able to get a table easily and had a really nice catch up with Sharouz. We finished up around midnight, said our goodbyes and walked around the old town for a bit (stopping for gelato, of course). The worn flagstones on the streets of the old town are so polished that light just beams back up and create the most wonderful reflections. Truly a beautiful city, looking forward to coming back for longer in a few days so we can explore a bit more.
