So I want to say that the Spaniards have it together.  The ride to the airport was timed to the minute and perfect...a nice ride to the mountain town of Girona.  The ride was pleasant and check in at the airport was nice.  The receptionist noted that I was 2 kilos overweight but let me slide on the 30 euro payment in exchange for my 8 euro priority boarding ticket.  It so happens the flight wasn't full.

The weather was perfect for flying and it was a smooth flight.  I arrived in Rome and felt that feeling of home for the first time.

I feel that Barcelona is a perfect city.  it has everything and is clean and accommodating.  I also have heard that job prospects are good for English teachers...hmmm.
