Bobby is leaving soon so this will be our last chance to really go out and see the nightlife. I have only been out to a few venues and it will be nice to have someone to hang with. For Friday night we went to "Circolo Degli Artisti" This club is very nice. An outdoor setting with lots of room. to find it you must walk to the end of the road near the train tracks. There is a dance floor and several outdoor socializing areas. Also the crowd is a good mix of young muffins and older dudes. Everyone looking good, INCREDIBLY GOOD!
Well, Bobby was meeting a friend there but we hung out together just the same and after a few drinks, I went off on my own. The night was pleasant enough but I got home at a very late hour with missing memories.
Saturday night we ventured to a club I had never heard of...ALPHEUS. This is a high energy club like what you'd find in New York or LA. It is located in an industrial neighborhood but with lots of clubs at night. This one is located in an old warehouse and is very VERY large. There are at least 2 dance floors connected by long labyrinth hallways with a circular room in the middle with a DJ. Everything is painted black and there are lazer lights everywhere. The crowd here was much more serious about the party and I can only guess what drugs were circulating. The drinks were strong and the patrons of unusually HOT quality. Again the age range was broad.
I actually like the energy at this club a lot but it is a lot for me afte only a few hours.
Today is Sunday and I am wondering if I will ever stop acting like a 29 year old and realize that I will hurt in the morning after such a night of being bashed into and jostled.
anyway...I have my fun!!!
