So, Sunday morning came and I was to meet with the "landlord" get the keys and move into the room.  What i didn't know was there was a time change.  I had been so excited the night before but still tired and jet lagged from my trip.  I slept late and with the time change, almost missed the appointment.  Luckily, the room was just across the street so, i basically threw on some pants and ran my little feet over there.

After getting the keys, i came back and checked out of the hotel.  I had two 40 lb suitcases plus a computer and a gym bag.  The landlord from the room helped me carry the stuff over and then proceeded to show me where the nearest amenities were.  Ie grocery store, pharmacy etc..  The room was bare but adequate.  A bed, a table, a dresser... Nothing special, still it was clean and charming.

So, I'm very excited and restless.  School starts tomorrow (I haven't been in school for 22 years and even then did poorly).  I am in a new world.  New everything.  I'm basically walking in circles.  Then there was a knock at the door.  It was the housemates.  we got aquainted a little.  They were in the same state as me but had each other to confide in.  The girls were heading down to piazza Navona and invited me along.  It was a nice walk and we chatted and discussed our excitement and apprehension about our upcoming class.  WE bonded.
