So, everyone always asks me why I chose to move to Rome.  Well, here is the answer.  For several years I had wanted and longes to travel. I had friends who would travel for years at a time and even my family are  travelers.  I always had an excuse though.

Well one day, a good friend called and asked me to meet in Rome and was not taking no for an answer.  She was already searching for an airfare for me and I couldn't think of an excuse.  So, i went.  I had the time of my life, each day a new fantasy come true.  It was amazing.

Meanwhile that trip came to an end.  I had to go home and work to pay for the trip, all the time thinking I had to return.  I searched and searched for a way to come back to Rome to really stay and live it...

It seemed the way to go was to teach English.  I then researched as thoughtfully as I could and decided to go.

I am 44 years old and I think I am too old to NOT take new chances when they arise.  I booked a one-way ticket and subleased my condo.  I chose a school to gain my teaching certificate, one that offered temporary housing. I thought it would be a good way to focus myself the first month in my new adventure.
