It is strange to think we are going home. This break has been truly amazing and it is a shame that it is coming to an end. I guess there are some things that it will be nice to return to to (at this point, I can only think of one: not having to cover ourselves in mozzie repellent every evening) and it will of course be great to catch up with everyone, but nonetheless we are sad to be leaving this corner of the world behind us. Such is life.
Yesterday was typically lovely, with a trip into Negril (for postcards and a quick look at the famous 7 mile beach) then back here for an awesome massage, before watching sunset from a private hot-tub
Dinner last night was delicious. We were sat out on the terrace (great view of the place) and it started to rain (properly rain) half way through our starters. The waiters - who appeared fairly used to this - quickly ushered us all inside, brought our tables in, and carried on as if nothing had happened. It was quite funny. The rain didn't last long, but an electrical storm lasted long into the night. We sat up for some time watching lightening brighten the dark sky. It was very cool.
This morning we've just breakfasted, been for one last swim (and a few final jumps) and packed. We'll have some lunch now and the taxi should be here in an hour and a half or so.
We will update this blog with some pictures when we get home to give it some life, and write a final entry when we have had time to reflect. Other than that, we're nearly done. It's been brilliant.
