The campsite, wasn't too bad and a lot cheaper too ($29) and the weather was sunny and really pleasant. I had originally planned on staying just the one night, however exhaustion and a few mishaps made me think that an extra night here wasn't such a bad idea. I still had problems with the electricity in the camper so I was doing my best to re-route the power from the one outlet that worked. Cooking was a little bit different due to this, combined with my exhaustion probably contributed to my downfall of burning my rice cooker in the microwave (I forgot to add water!). After all of this I decided that I would get the problem looked at and just recoup, allowing me to collect myself again before heading to the falls.
I went into the local mechanics to see if the could do anything, however he had said that he was not qualified to work on RVs, but did replace a fuse that had blown (not the cause of the problem as I had already tested the fuse with a metal probe). I thought that I had better call a tech in and made arrangements after I bought myself a new rice cooker.
I arrived back and checked myself in for another night and surprisingly everything worked again! A couple of English lads were also in the process of checking in at the same time and I went over and said G'day to them. A few beers later and a delicious lunch with them the rest of the afternoon was gone and it was time for dinner. Most refreshing of all this was probably one of the most relaxing and pleasant afternoons I had had, in the sun too!
