What a beautiful morning! Chloe and I went for a walk around the caravan park which is substantial.Today was all about seeing the sights of the Alice. We begun by visiting The School of the Air to learn all about how it works. It was really interesting with 131 students enrolled across thousands of kilometres. They all meet in Alice four times a year to ensure they have contact with children of their own age. The tour guide was from NZ which was different. Next it was off the Royal Flying Doctors Museum to gain a better understanding of its history. Emmy didn't even know what it was before we went. I managed to slice my toe open on the step into their theatre and I required medical attention without a plane though! With the temperature at 36 degrees already we went to the Women's Pioneer Museum in the old gaol. Chloe freaked out about being in a prison and we had great fun stirring her. The afternoon was too hot for touristy things so we went back to the pool for three hours. The girls didn't complain and came out looking like prunes!
