Mae Sai is only on the tourist map due to it's border with Myanmar, one of the few Westerners can use.  The town itself is of no real interest, except for bundles of Burmese crafts and knock off goods.  This entry is basically about some of the tourist trap attractions around the area which, having hired a driver for this part, meant was inevitable.

* Some god awful Monkey Cave.  I've never seen such fat little Monkeys in my life, and trust me, I've seen tons of Monkeys.  It was awful.  Extremelly busy, had coachloads of people there, all feeding these Maques and seeing how close they could get before they stole their sunglasses.

* A viewpoint on the Thai / Myanmar border.  Apart from fantastic views, it also had a Giant Scorpion.

* My driver decided to drive through a pedestrian shopping street.  Then he took photos of himself doing it!

That was it.
