On Friday we went to the Gabba to watch England hopefully beat the Aussies in their own back yard. Sadly it wasn't to be. Not even close!
The stadium itself was amazing and the atmosphere was really good. Darren got loads of stick all day from the home fans for wearing his "whinging Pom shirt" but he gave a great cheer when we finally got Ponting out just short of his 200. Ha!
We left the Cricket about 4'ish and picked up our Van. Darren drove the van and Niki drove the automatic car - which she now quite fancies at home!
It seems pretty good so far and got us back upto the Sunshine coast no bother. We plan to get it serviced, get some insurance and breakdown cover.
Over here the Tax disc (The Rego) covers all drivers against people damage. So you don't really need to have any additional insurance to drive, however it is a good idea to get atleast 'Property' cover in case we were to bump into a hundred grand Ferrari.
