Got in another 4 hour surf this morning and then it was time to hit the road south to to Mirleft via Tiznit. It was a pretty drive as there were lots of greenery due to all the rains. The further south we went the less people we saw and the less rubbish too which was refreshing! Mirleft was described in our guide book as a little village popular with artists and also with foreigners it would seem as there were lots of new and stunning looking houses and Riads. After driving around for nearly 1 hour we finally found our camp ground – the signs that were meant to be on the main street directing people to the grounds we found were laying on the ground outside the camp ground gates! The camp ground was literally someones backyard with enough room for 8 campers and one little toilet and shower block, surrounded with gum trees. Quaint and really welcoming
Our neighbours turned out to be kiwis – Andrew and Kim and their 4 year old Jack and 2 ½ year old Flynn. We got settled in and they invited us over for evening drinks.
Kim is really getting into her exercise routine and we were boxing this morning, then it was her time to relax on the beach while I went surfing with Andrew. Waves were great but they kept moving so in 3 hours we only caught 5 in total - gutted!!! Kim did not end up relaxing but playing chases with Jack who is life an ever ready battery and just loves to run and built things. The beach was nearly deserted until ladies on their donkeys came literally running across the beach. Andrew asked if the boys could sit on the donkeys and we were able to get a few pictures. The boys loved it! Andrew's Kim was off for a pedicure when we got back to the camp ground so my Kim joined her and got a massage. Andrew and I were left to the cook off – beef tarjine by us and chicken by them. The girls all beautified and relaxed joined us and we ate under the canopy of stars.
