Fiesta and Siesta

We did not go to any museums or tours while in Madrid, but we lived it up. Liz ate Paella Negra, which is rice with seafood but everything is covered in squid ink, so it has a black film over all the food. It sounds a little disgusting, but it wasn´t too bad. Then we drank the rest of the wine we bought in Paris. We stocked up because it was only 2 euros for a bottle. Then we went out from disco to disco. There were wild parties in the street. We jumped over a bon fire that was in the street. It was a good night. We tried to leave early for Seville, but the earliest train was real expensive. So we are going to leave at 2pm, spend the night in Seville and go on to Tirifa in the morning. Tirifa is on the Southern most point of continental Europe. We leave by ferry from there to go to Morrocco. We´re not spending the night in Morrocco, I didn´t feel right about it. From there we go to Grenada and Alhmabra, the Moorish castle, and up to Barcelona. We bought a cheap plane ticket to Rome so we don´t have to travel by train for 36 hours to get there. Its only an hour long flight. I took a siesta in the park and now I am ready for Sevilla.

My turn, this is Liz. It´s great having Julie here to mix things up and help me gang up on Dan! hehe. We really are having a blast...just thought I´d that after Dan´s professional update on what we´ve actually been doing. Oh, and I´ve got some awesome mullet photos!
