We arrived in Paris yesterday afternoon and ate our first meal at a park after hitting up the local grocery store. We drank wine and made sandwiches on American bread, finally not baguettes! We made it to the top of the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph, and saw Notre Dame at night. There was a party all over with bands, fire, people juggling flames, art, and it was hard to make our way around the crowds. Today we went to the Louvre and saw everything from the Mona Lisa to statues by Michaelangelo. Then we went inside Notre Dame. It was beautiful. Our last Paris adventure was going to the Catacombs. They are unbelievable tunnels under the city filled with bones of Parisians. Cant type too much on these weird keyboards, it takes too long!

Have you gotten lynched yet? (reply) Jun 22, 2006 12:47 EST by holdenc0079
I wasn't particularly keen on the French when I was in Europe. Of course I may be speaking for the minority who were anti-American, but overall I wasn't feeling the love. I got better treatment when I told them I was Puerto Rican.
That Seine river pic's pretty sweet (sorta blurry, though). And that pic, '4 ?', is pretty cool too.
