The moday after leaving Austin was another marathon of driving, this time through Central Texas, which, for the record, is a big-ass state. There were hardly any other vehicles on the highway besides the occasional tractor trailer. That combined with the fact that the speed limit was 80 miles per hour made it a pretty decent drive. The scenery was beautiful in a vast empty kind of way, and the sunset was awesome. We drove to El Paso where we stayed at Ernest's Aunts house. For the record Ernest has been a huge help to us on the trip, we has really been like our Central Headquarters, between getting us set up w/ Marriot Hotel rooms at great rates, helping us w/directions and helping me get my resume out there. His mom and Aunt were nice anough to open there home to us and were great hosts, so I can see where he gets his nice streak from.
