SO I finished up the diving, and am now PADI certified, which means I can SCUBA dive at other sites at a reduced ratedive, and could dive without an instructor in theory, but I won't be doing that any time soon. So, after the last dive everyone from the class met at a bar for beers and to watch the dive videos that they made for us. But they cost 65 usd, so i won't be buying that, I might try and get a burned one from someone in the class though. I am just hanging out and trying to recuperate my body today, after three days of diving. SO far I have done some sketching, got a massage (JUST a massage thanks;), and am now working on the blog, I just uploaded some pics to the last entry so check 'em out. Oh Yah I might be doing another dive at 5:30 am tomorrow that goes down to 30 meters, and where you often get to see sharks (not man-eating ones don't worry).

Sometimes its tough to tie in everything that I am experiencing here so I had the idea to make a kind of "fun-meter". Basically I'm going to rank a bunch of random stuff from 'fun' to 'really not fun at all', so if something is in the middle I feel pretty neutral towards it, you get the idea...

I am going to keep adding to this list so check back...

Meeting interesting people from all over the world.

Being able to see interesting and different things every day.

Getting to see what another culture is like first hand.

Not having to work for three months straight.

Riding Motos around for only 4-5 dollars a day.

Everything being cheap.

The fact that most people I run into really aren't complainers. For example most poele don't complain about occasional spiders or cock roaches in their bungalows. It just comes with the territory.

Seven dollar, hour long massages.

eating interesting food every day.

Realizing that I have worn three different pairs of flip flops in three days, because everyone has the same cheap black plastic ones, and you have to take them off every time you go in to a restaurant, store, bar etc..

The occasional lost feeling of "what exactly am I doing here"

No one leaving comments on my blog ;) ;)

Having to flush the toilet using a bucket of water.

Only three hot showers in three weeks.

Being hounded by taxi drivers yelling "TAXI! TAXI!" every time I walk by (although I bet if I were a Thai taxi driver saying "TAXI, TAXI" to annoyed foreigner all day would be even lower on my list).

Geckoes in my bungalow at night, those things can make some freaking loud noises for being so small.

The Seventeen hour flight to Bangkok

Staying on Khao San Road for more than a day.

The occasional 'after effects' of eating interesting food every day

Going home and not having a job lined up.

The way Bangkok smells.

Eating meals by myself.

Missing my girl friend (lets all say it together, "awwwwwwwww").

Having a random Swedish guy tell me that "we should go pee in the ocean together", because "thats what friends do in my country".

Falling in to a well hidden 8 feet hole.
