Hi, this is Lucy. We travelled west to Greymouth on the 22nd. Quite a scenic drive through the mountains. Not much to say about Greymouth as it is quite a small town with not a lot to do. However we did stay in a really nice hostel called Noahs Ark, all the rooms had a different animal theme, our was Elephant! Also a group of people we met in Fiji were staying there, so it was good to see them. We spent two nights here. On the full day we had here we drove to Panakaiki. This place is famous for its Pancake rocks & blowholes, set in the Paparoa National Park. As it suggest the rocks have eroded in pancake formations. The blow holes were quite spectacular. Heading to Franz Josef on the 25th.
