Back in Mexico

After quite a large night in Varadero Cuba (only 2 hours nap..) we made it to Havana airport, rather our taxi driver made it in perfect timing (2hour ride). We then caught our famous Cubana Air, which initially was supposed to take one hour, 2 hours later and we land (just!) in Cancun. The original plan was to head to Chitchen Itza and make our descent to Mexico City. But why not have a few more days on the Caribbean, so off we went on a bus to Playa Del Carmen, south of Cacun. A friend of mine, Anita recommended it as a chilled version of Cancun and exactly what we needed after our week in Cuba. Cheers Anita.
