Hello Y'all,

If anyone is trying to find me via telephone, I am out of range in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The White Raven is a little coffee shop with pretty decent coffee and free inter net. Zhanara and I are here drinking coffee in around 79 degree Fahrenheit weather. I guess this isn't the most ideal temperature to drink coffee.

Anyhow, If anyone was wondering how to get a hold of me, the only way is via Internet. If you really need to call me call my parents house if you have the number. I'm shutting off my telephone today. Zhanara's phone is dead already. We lost it on the train ride down to San Jose.

We leave for Philly at 7:30 a.m. from San Jose airport if you want to wish us goodbye.

I've been spending some great time with my parents. we've been hanging out all day and sunning ourselves out in the yard with the dogs.

It was kind of cold Saturday(my mothers birthday) when we came down to Bonny Doon. My mothers birthday was great! She turned 60 years old. It was nice to spend some time with my father and mother. Music was played by my fathers band. My cousin frank came by in the evening. This kid is like a brother to me.

It's always nice to spend time at home before I leave. It gives me some time to reflect and also time to get things in order.

God bless my parents for putting up with me and Zhanara. We have a pile of luggage on floor. I still have to take apart my bike.

My father drank too much beer last night and left elote(corn on the cob) on the fire and passed out. My mother later commented on the fact that there was corn on the grill burning. I raced out and saved it barely burning myself.

I've been having waiter anxiety dreams. I had a second dream last night that I was asleep with zhanara, when Johno the host at Chez Panisse had sat a table of these four mid-western tourists on a table in my room. Four fairly cute, typical, girls around 25 years old, all having lunch at Chez Panisse for the first time. I imagined that my room was next to Chez Panisse Cafe. A door lead to my room where Johno in a suit lead them to this communal wooden table. I slowly got up from bed, in my boxers and took their order. I was pretty upset that I missed out on the menu meeting. I kept looking at the clock and it read 9:25 a.m. I was angry that I was sat so early. I didn't even get a chance to have tasters. Later, I convinced one of the girls that the Salmon plate was good. I went through this big rant on how it was wild caught fish from the Quinault River. The Salmon is as fresh as fish could get to a table. When the salmon plate came, it was this giant piece of raw salmon fillet in a bagel with cucumbers. All around this bagel plate were pieces of wilting lettuce. After all that convincing I had to deal with this girl being upset with the salmon plate. Later, as she left I whispered in her ear, if you complain enough in a letter, Chez Panisse will give you a free dinner. Wasn't this a nightmare !?

ok.

Cheers to all

I miss you guys all.

Peace out.
