Privet/Salem all,

I'm ready to leave this town.

I can't seem to make the phone stop ringing, so stop calling me.

All of you except my mother have missed the boat on seeing me.

I'm leaving for Santa Cruz on Saturday to hang out with my mother(It's her birthday). I'll be in Santa Cruz for four days if anyone wants to see me there.

Then, Zhanara and I are off to Chilly Philly (Phillidelphia, for those of you who ain't down) to visit some of her friends. She's taking me to D.C. and hopefully I'll see Veronica there.

I'm trying to make this little blog site happen. I guess I mean I will try and keep all of you updated on my journey to Central Asia.

If you guys have any questions on where I'm going, and what is Kazakhstan, write me. I will be happy to keep a regular dialogue with you guys. In fact, this will make me less homesick.

This is going to be my greatest adventure! I tip my hat to all who support me. I also want you all to know that you are all more than welcome to visit Zhanara and myself in Almaty. I suggest you avoid the winter.

whatup man, glad you haven't lost the bug either. always happy to read where your travels take you. i myself just got back from a week in Panamá. crazy times. more to come for sure. does the bug ever go away!?!?!?

So, after long last, I'm finally posting on here. So great to read these updates of your journeys in Asia. Kazhakstan sounds amazing. It has a bit of funny conotation over here cuase of the Borat movie, but, I've always been pretty fascinated by the place. It's so huge! Anyways, like I said above, son, hope you had an awesome birthday, and I wish you well on the rest of your travels. Hopefully I'll be able to see you when you arrive back, and maybe get to meet this gal of yours. And as a trade off, you can meet my girlfreind. She jsut moved here from Australia 2 weeks ago. Pretty jazzed! So much to fill you in on, dude!!!! Take care, brother! James1
