Second night in Belgrade, second night at the hostel Belgrade Eye.
(Side note/quick review: guys and girls, do sleep in this place only if have to or if you really like it...it's not the best hostel I've ever been to, standars are low and it's not very 'quaint'....unfortunately I didn't have the chance to check any other place out, but you can easily get really cool communist era hotels for just a bit extra. Example: Hotel Royal, apparently one of the oldest in town, and right by the central pedestrian boulevard). Maciej and I are leaving tomorrow, early in the morning. A guy that works for a local car rental will deliver the car we rented....yes, that's right, he'll deliver it right in front of our hostel, and the car will actually cost less, as we are renting it from the airport office which is cheaper....don't ask me exactly how it works, but that's Belgrade!
Next destination is Berane in the northern part of Montenegro, where we'll start working on our story, meet local staff of CHF and see their first projects. On a different side note, I've just realised that I don't have the cable to download pictures from my camera....which is a real bummer as I'd love to keep this blog as up to date and interesting as possible. But I'm sure that y'all will bear with me, especially the 11 souls who haev already checked my travelogue since I've started it last night....eheh. Thanks for the interest folks! So, I suppose next time I write an entry will be from Montenegro, what I sincerely believe is the youngest nation in the world(?)...What I know (almost) for sure is that its capital Podgorica is the smallest capital city in Europe....I wonder if it feels anything like Vientiane, definitely one of the smallest capital cities I've ever visited.
