Stopping just outside the city of Leon in north-central Spain for a drink, we realise we've been unwillingly following the camino the whole day since we left Bilbao...I say unwillingly because we managed to stay on the pilgrims' route even when we suddenly decided to change our own route: too much rain on the Atlantic coast of Spain, so we took a divertion to seek the sun, especially after our windscreen wipers fell off and we found ourselves driving at 20 mph!
