In the morning we drive towards the Ocean and around lunchtime we finally see it. It is the first time in a while, at least for me, but it will later turn out to be quite a costant presence in our trip...we'll see more of it in Spain, Portugal and Spain again.

After a quick bite and a drink we are on the road again but we hit a huge traffic jam of summer tourists, and we procede dead slowly for the next couple of hours..before we decide to take the motorway for the last stretch before entering Spain...at €1.5 I reckon it was a good investment!

The Basque countries welcome us into Spain and after looking for a camp site in and around Guernica - bashing the back of the car a little in the process - we stop in a parking lot with amazing views of the Ocean for the night.

Tomorrow we're going to have a long long day in front of us as we will be trying to drive all the way to Gordon's house on the Camino de Santiago in Galicia...didn't I tell about that? ...mmmm, let me make up for it in the next post, it is an interesting story worth telling.
