After a couple of days in Denver, Ed was ready to get home. He had a little Australian girlfriend he needed to see.

We drove overnight to Chicago. I like to start a 1000 mile journey at 8 p.m. We strolled into Ed's house the following morning.

Over the next week we wandered around the midwest. We went to Michigan to see the east side of Lake Michigan. Ed had never seen the sun set on the lake - Chicago watches the sunrise.

We also went to Milwaukee to party one night. That was a hell of a time. We strolled around Chicago a little more and hung out in the burbs. The trip was drawing to a close.
