Laura and I headed out the next morning with minimal hangovers. The drive wasn't excruciating. We got to my friend Nell's place that night. She lived in Boulder at the time. She's fantastic and it was great to see her. We also spent some time at my brother's house. He lived in Longmont, which is near Boulder and Denver. We spent a couple of weeks just bumping around Colorado. We checked out Rocky Mountain National Park. Fantastic area. We hung out with Nell and Eric a lot.
