Most of our days consisted of sitting on the beach or looking at it from our bungalow. But we did decide to wander around the island one day and see some of the other beaches. We also wanted to check out the resort we had originally booked and some of the others we had decided against. So we walked over to Koh Mak Resort and CocoScape Resort. CocoScape was pretty sweet and had a dozen different types of rooms, several of them with great views. But it was also pretty crazy expensive. Koh Mak Resort was stupid expensive and not even as nice as where we stayed, Monkey Island Resort. We then saw the resort that hand cancelled on us and were still happy with where we ended up. Not only was our place really nice, but I think it was the best deal for the money. We did find one place that was on its own little beach and had simple wooden bungalows for 700 baht a night. We might try that place if we go back for an extended amount of time. I'm posting some photos of our tour for any potential visitors to the island.
