Enjoy the pretty pictures.
If you're trying to decide if I'm kidding or if I'm some sort of horrific prick, you'll have to check your theodolyte.
I heard this bird sanctuary is the largest in Southeast Asia. But I heard the same about the one in Singapore, so who knows. I didn't have my theodolyte on hand, so I can't make any statements about the veracity of these claims. What I can tell you is that there were lots of birds. Hundreds, thousands, maybe millions. I'm really not in a position to comment on that either. What I know for sure is that they were colorful and Lindsey loves them. The varied and brightly hued plumage was gorgeous, but I must admit that I prefer my birds on a rotisserie. I mentioned this to the wildlife ecologist who runs the park and works diligently to protect these incredible and endangered creatures, and she had to audacity to rebuke me. I went on to mention what a moneymaker a buffet would be, similar to a Brazilian-style steakhouse and maybe an omelet bar, and she actually wept. Some people are so sensitive.
