We left by 10:30. We got to the Vatican and the line for the Vatican Museum was soooo long! It took us an hour to get inside and get our tickets. We saved 6 Euro though with our ISIC card so that was nice. There were so many beautiful rooms in the museum. Like the Louvre, the museum itself is a work of art.

The anticipation to get to the Sistine Chapel kept building up. We finally got to it and WOW! First of all, I couldn't believe we were there but looking at the art was just unbelievable. And to think one person did all this!! Genius

The funniest part though was this one security guard kept screaming SILENCIO!!! And it was in the most booming voice ever! But yeah all of it was just extremely lifelike.

It then started to rain and in order to take shelter we just went to a restaurant haha Beer comes in 3 packs

. Jeff's food was awesome, mine was ok. So wait, here was another Rome boo boo: we didn't eat the bread this time because we knew, but now we got charged 3 euro for the use of the utensils!! haha man they come up with some interesting things. Next thing you know you'll get charged for every breath you take.

The rain passed over and we went toward the Borghese Gardens. On our way there we passed another piazza, this one had a nice fountain in the middle with lion statues all over. So the Borghese Gardens were really peaceful...until the gypsies came and wouldn't leave us alone....doing their usual thing of selling roses, etc. One of them would just not leave us alone!!

Then we were off to the Spanish steps....this is where the people were hiding...i mean there were so many people here!

Then we just enjoyed our last night in Rome.

Hilarious
We've visited the Chapel three times ourselves and still crack-up remembering the guards' thundering 'Silencio'. No photos, no talking, no sitting down. A real fun place.
