So we woke up at 4 am! ewww. We had to be so quiet as to not wake people up. We got to the Holborn metro station and guess what....it was closed and would not open until 5:30!! So we had to walk the whole way to St. Pancras station....it took about 30 minutes. We there just in time for check in, ate our cheese and crackers, and got on. Jeff's bag got in trouble because of his swiss knives but we were able to go just fine.

Slept the whole way to Brussels. We put our stuff in a locker at the train station (HUGE lockers there) and hit the city. We had about 8 hours to kill. So the main part of the city was only two stops away so that was nice. The city was gorgeous...all Art Noveau style. But there was a lot of graffiti in random places. We stopped at two parks. We saw this strange woman who was pulling out the most random stuff from her bag: 4 Barbie dolls, 2 purses, a Mona Lisa puzzle...weird Peeing statue

So then we got lost and ended up in the Arabian section of town. Somehow we ended up finding our way back. We got some Belgian waffles yumm. Then I insisted that I get Belgian chocolates adn we went into a chocolate stores. They were giving out sooo many free samples. I was in heaven. And then I bought some.

Then we went to go see a band perform in the town square. They were really fun! Oh and also that whole day at every single store we kept seeing souvenirs of this little boy peeing. So we inquired about it and it was what Brussels was known for and we ended up finding it....man it was like a shrine. So many people were there and it was wearing an outfit ( I hear they change his outfit a lot). So we took and picture with it haha. Then back to the train station to catch a 4 oclock train.....our one and only day in Belgium
