Day 1 of 7 weeks. My mom dropped me off and came into the airport with me to wait for Jeff. He came like 10 minutes later. I feel like I overpacked but it's definitely not the clothes. It's toiletries and first aid stuff.  I have about 8 shirts, 4 pairs of shorts, two pairs of shoes, two pairs of jeans, a hoodie, a long sleeve, and two dresses. It's a tight fit but my backpack isn't too large.

We had time to chill before our flight so we got some food. I got fries and Jeff got some Corner Bakery sandwich. We got onto our plane going to Philly. We both slept. There was some awkward turbulence for a while but whatever. Landing right above the water was really cool. Kind of like the DC airport. We had 4 hours in Philly. We wandered the airport forever to find food because we were being picky. We went in the TGIF and left because we didn't want anything there. I settled at an Italian place and Jeff got Oriental food. We ate and went to the terminal. I love international terminals. Hearing so many languages gets me so happy!

We got on the plane and left slightly delayed. Jeff and I read our travel books and then we started talking. Overall, we are both really excited. He's a little nervous, as it's his first time out of the country. We'll have a great time as long as we're open to each other and everyone else. I'm ready!
